Standing tall now but once had her wings clipped and too scared to fly away. A guardian angel holds pieces of a past that violate her present, sometimes unannounced and sometimes shadows in her periphery.
The pain and fear is now a weapon, one to protect but sometimes a reaction to shame. She locked parts of her away and lost the key. Only time and healing unlocked what was trapped.
Her wings grew back and she adorned herself with regal things she forgot she deserved. Setting pieces of her free, feeling lighter with time and some Pieces at Rest because they take time.
